General Information
In cavity wall construction it is imperative to tie both walls together as this assists in holding the walls parallel and together to help strengthen the wall in stressful situations such as earth movement or high winds.
Application Details
Available in 175mm, 225mm, 300mm
Please note: Wall ties should be selected in accordance with the Australian Standards on Masonry Structures
and Masonry Ties (AS3700 and AS2699). Selection is based on the distance of the structure from the coast and whether that coast opens to a sheltered bay or clear ocean. Grade 316 stainless steel ties cover durability exposure classification R2, R3 and R4. Grade 304 ties cover R2 and R3.
